Perfect Tube, as the name implies has some of the perfect features for a Windows 10 YouTube app. If you don’t like paying, from time to time, the app developer or Microsoft store will be giving away the app for free.
Price: myTube costs $0.99, a one-time purchase. All you have to do is, create a room and share the password so that others can join the room. There is also a new feature called Rooms where you can watch YouTube videos with your buddies at the same time.
Other features of myTube include but not limited to the ability to download videos to local disk, channel notifications, ability to show a warning when playing on mobile data, ability to separate myTube history from the actual YouTube history, private mode and TV mode for a distraction-free watching experience. If you are like me who likes to watch videos while doing other work, there is also a picture-in-picture mode. Unlike YouTube’s official web interface, the video playback UI is clean and to the point without any distractions. Add to that the app is lightweight, minimal, and feature-rich.
